At $12k it aint cheap but it shoots both 4k and Uncompressed 1080 (up to 60p!).<\/p>\n<p>Nofilmschool.com has <a href=\"http:\/\/nofilmschool.com\/2012\/12\/canon-4k-dslr-1d-c-hybrid-photo-video-camera\/\" target=\"_blank\">this write up on the new Canon 1DC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/855962-REG\/Canon_EOS_1D_C_EOS_1D_C_4K_Cinema.html\" target=\"_blank\">specs from B&amp;H<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Designed specifically for the unique demands of the motion picture industry, the\u00a0<b>EOS-1D C Camera<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0<b>Canon<\/b>\u00a0is a breakthrough in hybrid HDSLR technology&#8211;able to record stills, 4K and Full HD video, to either two on-board CF cards or uncompressed Full HD to outboard recorders.<\/p>\n<p>The EOS-1D C is capable of recording Full HD (1920 x 1080) content to on-board CF cards with a choice of frame rates (24p, 25p, 30p, 50p and 60p), in two distinct fields of view (Full-Frame HD and Super 35mm Crop).
